The ChildServe Legacy Society has been established to honor those individuals and families who have included the organization as a beneficiary of their estate plans.

Membership in the ChildServe Legacy Society is obtained by written confirmation of a planned gift arrangement. Qualifying gifts include bequest designations, trusts, life insurance, retirement assets or life income arrangements.

More than 50 individuals and families have enrolled in the society, and the expected value of their future contributions total more than $6 million.

Realized planned gifts are generally designated to the ChildServe Endowment, a permanent endowment fund established in 1989. Annual distributions support the care and services offered by ChildServe, protect against unexpected reimbursement gaps and difficult economic conditions, and uphold programs and services.

Planned giving donors may also establish their own named endowment fund or name an endowment in honor of another person. Donors may also restrict their gifts to benefit a specific program or area at ChildServe.
